The $390 audit, shown on ourselves
What you get for $390, and the complete audit we ran on Forty Questions before any client, so you can judge the thing itself rather than a description of it.
Measured 29 September – 3 October 2026 · 480 answers · Satayu Isariyaphorn
An AI visibility audit from Forty Questions is forty buyer questions, asked to ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Google’s AI answers three times each on separate days: 480 answers, every one kept and readable. It costs $390 once, is read through with you, lists at least four specific fixes (each naming the page or listing to change and the question it targets, or we keep working until it does), and is credited against your first month if you continue. If the audit finds nothing worth fixing, tell us within 7 days of delivery and the $390 is refunded in full. After 7 days, fees are not refunded. The monthly work that follows carries two guarantees: named or free (if your count is not higher than this audit’s baseline after 90 days, the work continues at no charge for up to 90 more days) and a first result in 30 days (at least one assistant names you on a question where it did not at baseline, or the second month is free).
What is in it
- The number. How many of 480 answers named you, by assistant and by question, and the split between questions you could win and head-to-heads between two rivals where you were not in the question.
- Who was named instead. Share of recommendations across every company the assistants named, counted by rules written before collection.
- What the assistants read. Every page cited before answering, grouped by site, so the fixes point at real pages rather than theory. Our own audit had 4,413 citations from 1,111 sites.
- At least four fixes. Each names the page or listing to change and the question it targets, with the figure behind it. Reviewed by a person, not generated.
- The questions, frozen. The forty questions never change afterwards, so the re-measure at day 30 and day 60 means something.
The audit we ran on ourselves
Before selling this to anyone we ran it on Forty Questions. The result is the number a one-week-old site should expect: named in 0 of 480 answers, and none of the 4,413 citations pointed to our site. The assistants named Otterly, Profound, Peec AI, Semrush and Ahrefs instead. The fix list has six items. Every step we take on them is logged with its date on client zero, and the number is re-measured with the same questions at the end of October and November, whatever it shows.

What it is not
It is not a promise of placement. Nobody controls what an assistant says. It is a count taken under published rules, and a list of the work most likely to change it, with the evidence for each item. The method is public, and the questions and counting rules are on GitHub under CC BY 4.0, so anyone can check a figure we produce.
How to start
Email satayu@fortyquestions.io with your company name and the country you sell into. The free first report (five questions on two assistants, 30 answers) comes first if you want to see the shape of it; the audit is invoiced only after the questions are frozen with you. Prices are on the pricing section.
